welcome…
Abdullah was Neville's teacher in New York in the 1930s. An Ethiopian Jewish rabbi by some accounts, he taught Neville Hebrew scripture, Kabbalah, and the inner meaning of the Bible across nearly seven years of study. Very little is known about him outside of Neville's own accounts, but his fingerprints are on every teaching Neville delivered. He is the foundation on which this body of work was built, and his influence is honored throughout these pieces through the AbNev framing.
Neville Goddard (1905-1972) was a Barbadian-born teacher and mystic who taught that the Bible is not history but a psychological roadmap of the awakening of the human imagination. He lectured for nearly four decades in New York and Los Angeles, publishing books including Your Faith Is Your Fortune, The Power of Awareness, Feeling Is The Secret, Awakened Imagination, and The Law and The Promise. His central teaching was that "I AM" is the name of God, and that human imagination is the only creative power in the universe, personified as Christ.
I am applying Abdullah and Neville's lens to parts of scripture they touched on briefly or not at all, and developing the architecture they implied but did not fully build out.
I referred to this methodology initially in my writing as AbNev lens which stood for Abdullah and Neville as a way to honor Abdullah, who laid the foundation Neville built upon.
Now I am referring to it as the AbNevAriEl, below is what it stands for.
አብ | Ab represents Abdullah.
Ab is a semitic root word, primarily in Hebrew and Aramaic, meaning "Father" or "Foundation.”
ኔቭ | Nev represents Neville
አሪ | Ari represents my name Arihelle
ኤል | El represents God.
Everything begins (Ab) and ends (El) with God.
The bible is not a historical book but a living psychological roadmap of the inner human consciousness.
This work is not about manifestation, it is about inner transformation which leads to ease in manifestation!

the primordial beginning | part one
This is the foundation. Genesis 1:1-2 is the account of how the creator created, and it is also the blueprint for how we create within our own consciousness. The same process that brought the universe from formless potential into structured reality is the same process operating every time a human being moves from an undefined state into a defined one.

the first creative word | part two
In Session 1, we examined the primordial beginning. The Spirit was hovering over the face of the deep. The I AM was attentive but had not yet spoken. Every possibility was already contained in the unformed waters, awaiting revelation.
Now the speaking begins.

the firmament | part three
In Part Two, the I AM spoke the first creative word. Light came. The faculty of discrimination was activated, the capacity to see one thing as distinct from another. The first separation was made, light from darkness. The cycle of evening to morning was established. The foundation was laid.
But the waters themselves, the entire creative substance, are still one undivided body. The infinite potential has been illuminated but not yet organized. Day Two changes that.

the dry land and the first fruit | part four
Day Three is where the outer world becomes functional. The waters are gathered, the ground appears, and the first seed is planted. Read through AbNev's lens, Genesis 1:9-13 describes both the physical formation of the earth and the psychological moment when an assumption hardens into stable, weight-bearing fact. The law that governs what grows is stated here for the first time: after its kind. The seed contains the species. What you plant is what appears. No exceptions.

the government of light | part five
Day Four does not create new light. It creates structures that govern the light already spoken into being on Day One. The sun generates. The moon reflects. The outer world of conditions, circumstances, and evidence has no light of its own. It borrows everything it shows from the inner assumption illuminating it. This is the cosmological order built into Genesis. And it raises one question: are you reading your outer world as the source, or as the sign?

the first living creatures | part six
Day Five is the day creation begins to move. The architecture is complete: light, structure, ground, governance, but nothing breathes. Nothing desires. Then the I AM speaks, and the waters teem. Read through AbNev's lens, the fish swarming in the deep are felt states, the invisible assumptions that generate beneath conscious thought. The fowl flying upon the firmament are thoughts, exploring the boundary between imagination and manifestation. For the first time, the creation is blessed.

the image and likeness | part seven
Day Six begins with the earth bringing forth its own creatures: the habitual mind, the creeping assumption, the wild emotional force. All produced by the accumulated ground of your own self-concept. All declared good. Then the I AM does something it has never done before in the creation account. It turns inward and speaks about itself. "Let us make adam in our image, after our likeness." Tselem and demut. The shadow and the operation. The crown of creation arrives.

the mandate | part eight
The adam has been fashioned in the image and likeness. Now it is told what to do with what it is. Kavash: subdue the earth of your own habitual being. Radah: govern the fish, the fowl, and every creature the ground has produced. Hinneh natatti: behold, I have already given you everything you need. The provision preceded the need. And for the first and only time in the creation account, the I AM sees everything it has made and declares it not merely good, but very good. Me'od tov.

the seventh day | part one
The creation account does not end with the making of the adam. It does not end with the mandate or the provision already given. It ends with the rest. The I AM completes its melakhah (skilled creative work), ceases, and does something it has not done for any structure, creature, or even the image-bearer itself: it sanctifies. The first thing called holy in all of scripture is not a place, a person, or an object. It is a state. The state of resting in the completed work without further striving

the creation from within | part two
Genesis 2 opens the same creation from the other side of the firmament. Genesis 1 spoke from above, the cosmic architect commanding form into being. Genesis 2 speaks from within, consciousness itself pressing into the material it has already spoken. The word order reverses. The divine name shifts. And YHWH Elohim does what Elohim never did: it enters the dust, shapes the adam from the finest particles of the ground, and breathes its own life directly into the nostrils of what it has formed.

eden as interior state: the tree of life and the tree of duality | part 3
Genesis 2:8-9 is a precision map of the designed interior life of consciousness. The garden (gan, from ganan, to enclose and defend) is a prepared inner state, not a geographic address. Eden itself means delight, a happy land, in its own right. At its center stands the Tree of Life, which Proverbs names as fulfilled desire itself. Beside it, the Tree of Knowledge, whose duality tracks the character of whoever approaches it, not a location it occupies.

the land already given | part one
The I AM declares the land given in the present tense before a single spy has departed. Twelve elevated faculties are dispatched from the wilderness, and every name encodes the psychological faculty being sent. Moses renames only one: Hoshea (salvation as concept) becomes Joshua (YHWH saves), adding the divine Name to the faculty of deliverance. Of the twelve, only two will cross over: the one renamed and the one whose name means faith.

The Beheading of John: When Reason Must Die So Vision Can Live | Part One
The entire John-Jesus dynamic in scripture, read through AbNev's lens, is not a biographical accident. It is psychological architecture. Every figure represents a state of consciousness, and every detail describes something happening inside the human soul.

The Beheading of John: The Twelve Sent Forth | Part Two
Mark 6:1-16 walks us through what happens before the rational mind is finally removed from the throne. The awakened imagination returns to its hometown (the old self), encounters the resistance of fixed identity, and then commissions its faculties to spread the new state outward.

The Beheading of John: Herod Descends into Memory | Part Three
In Part Two, the awakened imagination commissioned its twelve faculties and the dunameis began to spread. Now the formed self, the king of the current mental kingdom, hears the name and recognizes the rising power as the very faculty it once demoted. The chapter descends into the memory of how that demotion happened, and what it required.
