welcome…
Abdullah was Neville's teacher in New York in the 1930s. An Ethiopian Jewish rabbi by some accounts, he taught Neville Hebrew scripture, Kabbalah, and the inner meaning of the Bible across nearly seven years of study. Very little is known about him outside of Neville's own accounts, but his fingerprints are on every teaching Neville delivered. He is the foundation on which this body of work was built, and his influence is honored throughout these pieces through the AbNev framing.
Neville Goddard (1905-1972) was a Barbadian-born teacher and mystic who taught that the Bible is not history but a psychological roadmap of the awakening of the human imagination. He lectured for nearly four decades in New York and Los Angeles, publishing books including Your Faith Is Your Fortune, The Power of Awareness, Feeling Is The Secret, Awakened Imagination, and The Law and The Promise. His central teaching was that "I AM" is the name of God, and that human imagination is the only creative power in the universe, personified as Christ.
I am applying Abdullah and Neville's lens to parts of scripture they touched on briefly or not at all, and developing the architecture they implied but did not fully build out.
I referred to this methodology initially in my writing as AbNev lens which stood for Abdullah and Neville as a way to honor Abdullah, who laid the foundation Neville built upon.
Now I am referring to it as the AbNevAriEl, below is what it stands for.
አብ | Ab represents Abdullah.
Ab is a semitic root word, primarily in Hebrew and Aramaic, meaning "Father" or "Foundation.”
ኔቭ | Nev represents Neville
አሪ | Ari represents my name Arihelle
ኤል | El represents God.
Everything begins (Ab) and ends (El) with God.
The bible is not a historical book but a living psychological roadmap of the inner human consciousness.
This work is not about manifestation, it is about inner transformation which leads to ease in manifestation!

The River Flows from Eden, Not Toward It
Genesis 2 says a single river flows out of Eden and divides into four streams that water the entire known world. The direction matters. The river does not flow toward Eden to fill it. It flows FROM Eden because the state of delight produces the overflow. The abundance is the product of the inner state. The inner state is not the product of the abundance. Most people spend their lives chasing the river downstream, not realizing they are the source it was supposed to be flowing from.

Stop Checking the 3D: The Sun Doesn't Seek Validation from the Moon
Genesis 1 builds two lights on Day Four. The greater light generates its own light. The lesser light has no light of its own and reflects whatever illuminates it. Your inner consciousness is the sun. Your outer world is the moon. When you check your bank account and let the number set your inner state, you have asked the moon to light the sun. The moon is not lying to you. The reflection is accurate. But the reflection is a report, not a source. Stop consulting the moon. Turn back to the sun.

Revision: How to Deal with a Person Who Broke Your Trust Many Times
Neville's revision was never about convincing yourself the harmful person is now wonderful.
It was about revising your own assumption of yourself in relation to them.
The real revision is not: "I now believe this person is kind and trustworthy."The real revision is: "I am someone who is no longer affected by this person's level of consciousness."

Are you operating FROM the state 24/7 or do you keep falling out of it?
The teaching sounds like all or nothing. Either you hold the state or you have failed. But Neville's word was persisted, not perfected. If you never fell out, you would not need persistence. The falling out is not the opposite of the practice. It is the reason the practice exists. An assumption does not harden in a single unbroken moment. It hardens the way water freezes, gradually, unevenly, thawing and refreezing at the edges until the whole surface holds. The continuous return is the work.

Does the I AM Care?
A question that comes up often with this teaching is whether the I AM actually cares. If the I AM is neutral creative power, if it simply creates whatever is assumed without preference, then where does desire come from? And if desire comes from the I AM, how can the I AM be indifferent?
